The\u003cstrong\u003e vines\u003c\/strong\u003e from which Sciacchetrà is made are not aromatic; \u003cstrong\u003eBosco\u003c\/strong\u003e is used in the majority, followed by small percentages of \u003cstrong\u003eVermentino\u003c\/strong\u003e and \u003cstrong\u003eAlbarola\u003c\/strong\u003e, carefully and confidentially raised on steep\u003cstrong\u003e terraces\u003c\/strong\u003e located \u003cstrong\u003e100 to 350 meters above sea level\u003c\/strong\u003e. In the winery, the grapes are laid down in \u003cstrong\u003especial well-ventilated rooms\u003c\/strong\u003e where they undergo \u003cstrong\u003eraisining.\u003c\/strong\u003e Alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel, where the wine ages for a total of 12 months. Ageing takes place \u003cstrong\u003ein small oak barrels\u003c\/strong\u003e for a period of\u003cstrong\u003e 36 months\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eSciacchetrà Riserva is a beautiful amber-yellow colour with intense golden hues. The nose has delicate hints of apricot against a floral background of fragrant notes reminiscent of dried fruits, dates and almonds. The palate is \u003cstrong\u003eintense, broad and dense\u003c\/strong\u003e. \u003cstrong\u003eExcellent volume\u003c\/strong\u003e is noticeable on the sip, with peppery and saline hints and a very long finish.
